Biting Ke$ha’s New Music Video, “C’mon”
8:58 AM
The
usual signature of Ke$ha’s “party anthem” vibe is back with her
latest track. "C'Mon" is a dance-pop and electropop song with bubblegum
pop influences. It is her second single from her studio album “Warrior”,
as follow up to her smash hit “Die Young”.
The
music video was made available in Youtube on January 11, 2013. The scene
started with a short skit of her, as a easy, laidback waitress who eventually
quits and takes on a magical ride with a Kitty mascot, and soon joined a pack
of animal mascots. The video features rainbows, and magic, which was said to be the theme of her album.
Comparing the video to
her previous one, which was Illuminati-themed, her new clip captures her kinky,
and bubblegum-pop side of her, and does coincide with her album’s main theme,
which was said to be about “Magic”.
The short skit at the beginning of the video was unnecessary, for me. It only
adds up to the confusion of what the song was really all about, and this video
may not stand to what it means. But on the bright side, it’s a fun video to
watch.
